About Our Founder
Hello. My name is Donna Blum. I am so glad you are here. I want you to know my passion for serving seniors and their families is deeply personal.
A long time before becoming a Realtor with NP Dodge and founding Graceful Senior Transitions, I worked as a professional organizer, helping people simplify their lives and create spaces that brought them peace and joy. Little did I know that God was preparing me for a much greater calling.
After my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, I walked alongside my parents as they made the difficult decision to downsize from the acreage they loved to a smaller ranch home in a 55+ community. Later, our family faced another emotional milestone when my father's needs exceeded what could safely be provided at home, and my mother was faced with placing him in memory care.
Through those experiences, I witnessed firsthand the heartache, uncertainty, and countless decisions that accompany life's transitions. I also discovered the tremendous difference that compassionate guidance and trusted support can make.
Since then, I have devoted my work to helping seniors and their families navigate these important seasons of life. I understand that no two journeys are alike. Some transitions are carefully planned and filled with hope, while others arrive unexpectedly and require difficult decisions. Whatever the circumstance, no family is immune, and no one should have to walk the journey alone.
Today, as an NP Dodge Realtor and Omaha's Senior Home Coach, I have the privilege of helping families explore senior living options, rightsize their homes, coordinate moves, and find solutions that support a richer, more fulfilling quality of life.
